Project Life // Documenting the Everyday

document_withphotosI don’t know about you, but I’m taking more photos than ever. Not necessarily great photos, planned or posed photos; more real life, everyday photos. An increase in capturing everyday moments is good thing, but not so much when they’re lost in a cloud.

I started the Project Life™ system in 2011. The concept is perfect for documenting my families day-to-day life. The variety of pocket styles makes it easy to slip in memorabilia, kids art, programs, and even tangible items. Bound books may be more compact, but let’s be honest, life is moving at an all time record speed, nothing is compact! For me personally, I don’t have the discipline to document an entire year in order (without missing or forgetting something!) and then wait for a bound photo book. Printing my photos and documenting the everyday now motivates me to keep going!

A quick look at my 2014 story:

A year goes by quickly. I’m always a little behind in my memory keeping, but thanks to the Project Life system and mobile technology, I can keep a decent pace. Each of us are in a different point in life, some with more time, some with less. However you can, be sure to tell your story.
